Another beautiful selection from Finca Cedral Alto in Aserri, Costa Rica - We have been purchasing coffee from Jorge for the last 3 years and we're very excited to bring a catuai honey process this season. The team at Roble Negro made many updates to their micromill in 2020 which allowed them to better process honey coffees like this one. With their micromill they aim to reduce the use of water and electricity and reuse as many resources as possible. The coffee dried for 9-12 days at 11% humidity and rested in the warehouse for 2 months before shipment. This coffee tastes like semi sweet chocolate with confectionary notes. It has a clean mouthfeel.
